HSE Statistics

Each year in the Construction sector around 4% of workers suffer from an illness they believe to be work related. It is estimated that out of 79,000 of self reported work-related illnesses that 64% are Musculoskeletal.

Each year in the Construction sector 3% of workers sustain a non-fatal workplace injury. Out of the 66,000 injuries per year, 11% are due to being struck by an object and 20% are a result of falling from height.

It is essential that the correct type of equipment is used to ensure that working at height can be carried out safely; detailed documentation should be supplied with equipment and referred to for specific information.

Defective equipment can significantly increase the potential for accidents in the workplace so providing training and guidance is key to ensuring that employees are competent in the use of, and inspection of, workplace equipment. Our range of products provide a visual reminder to employees and advise what they should be looking out for during a pre-use inspection. Preventative maintenance not only improves safety but can significantly reduce maintenance costs by spotting faults early, before they develop into something more serious.

We also provide a range of posters, perfect for displaying in both internal and external environments; our posters are printed on tough, durable, wipe-clean synthetic paper making them easy to roll up without tearing, creasing or delaminating. They can be easily positioned using pins, tape, or within poster frames.
