Lorry Loader Inspection Checklists

It is a legal requirement that Lorry Loader Cranes receive an up-to-date inspection to ensure it is safe to use and complies with current regulations (LOLER, PUWER, HSWA, MHSWR, and RTA)

Pre-use inspections are a key part of any effective maintenance regime. Lorry loader cranes are complex machines with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic parts that require the manufacturer’s preventative maintenance instructions to be strictly complied with.

As with all lifting equipment the loader crane is subject to deterioration. This is why routine inspections can help to identify faults before they develop further, improving safety and reducing costs. The pre-use inspection should be carried out at the start of the working day, shift or when taking over the lorry loader. It is important that personnel asked to carry out these inspections have the necessary training, experience and competence to do so safely and accurately.

Our aim is for our products to help companies improve workplace safety, reduce maintenance costs and comply with legislation. The development of new products is a key part of this mission and we are pleased to announce that our new range of lorry loader maintenance products are now available to order CLICK HERE.

It is testament of Good to Go Safety's ability to deliver workplace solutions that our customers continue to provide us with such positive feedback and suggestions for new checklists, which is exactly the case with our latest version. Pre-use checks are an integral part of any effective maintenance regime and we’re confident our new hiab checklists will prove a popular addition – these are complex machines with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems that require preventative maintenance instructions to be strictly complied with.

If your company uses LOADER CRANES and you’d like to know a little more about what’s included on our checklists then drop us a line and we’ll be happy to send you a sneak preview before you order.
